Children encounter something for the first time every day.
A flower they have never seen before.
Sand they have never touched.
A night sky they have never looked up at.
Even the landscapes that feel familiar to adults
can be an entirely new world to a child.
That is why children linger over the smallest things
and find their own stories in the ordinary.
Just like the constellations we wrote about in our first story.
There are no lines between the stars,
yet someone once saw a lion and a bear among them
and turned them into stories.
Children see the world in much the same way.
Rather than looking for a single right answer,
they see, feel, and imagine in their own way.
This is also why IYAKI makes clothes for children.
Because they are still seeing the world for the first time.
And clothes stay close to them as they move through each day.
We wanted to make clothes that allow children
to experience the world freely.
And we hope that seeing the world again through their eyes
can bring a little joy to adults, too.
